GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

  1. Article Types The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Research Articles

  • Review Articles (by invitation only)

  • Research Notes / Short Communications

  • Case Reports

  • Letters to the Editor

Manuscript length limits (including abstract, tables and figures; excluding appendices) are as follows:

  • Research Articles: maximum 20 pages

  • Review Articles: maximum 30 pages

  • Research Notes / Short Communications: maximum 12 pages

  • Case Reports: maximum 6 pages

The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to change the article type after submission.

  1. ORCID All authors must provide their ORCID IDs on the title page during submission. Author information must not appear in the main text to ensure a double-blind peer review process.

  2. Submission Rules

  • Manuscripts must be prepared in MS Word format only.

  • The manuscript must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere.

  • Changes in authorship after submission are not permitted.

  • An iThenticate similarity report must be uploaded by the corresponding author. The similarity index (excluding references) should be below 15%.

  1. Manuscript Format

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Main text: 11 pt, 1.15 line spacing

  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides

  • Paragraph indent: 1 cm

  • Page numbers: bottom right

The manuscript should include the following sections: Introduction – Materials and Methods – Results – Discussion / Conclusion / Recommendations – References

  1. Language, Units, Tables and Figures

  • Manuscripts may be written in Turkish or English.

  • SI units must be used.

  • Decimal points should be indicated with a dot.

  • Table titles should appear above tables; figure captions should appear below figures.

  1. References References must be prepared according to APA 6 style, listed alphabetically, and should not be numbered.

  2. Post-Acceptance After acceptance, authors will receive a proof version for final checking. The journal reserves the right to withdraw an article even after acceptance in cases of ethical violations or serious scientific errors.
